The Littlest Consumerist
Today Elijah and I had a delightful lunch with Nana (my mom) at Alamo Cafe. Elijah picked on tortilla chips, beans, rice and beef fajita taco. Of course, as luck would have it, we were seated right next to the crane toy machine. Elijah is a fan of games like that - he got it […]

During Elijah’s nap time today, I had this idea that I should get him to help bake this blueberry sour cream strudel that I had been wanting to make for at least a week. So I promptly pulled out all the ingredients and waited patiently for my sous chef
I think he had […]
Fun Weekend
This WAHM had a wonderful weekend and I am so sad to see it come to an end!
Saturday after making stuffed Blueberry French Toast (out of our Weight Watcher’s cookbook, no less) we took a family walk down the street. Half way down the block, we met up with Grandma Alice (Elijah’s […]
Extreme Family Fun Weekend
Saturday night is just coming to an end but thus far we’ve had a super fun weekend! Fran surprised Elijah and I Thursday night by telling us that she took Friday off. (Monday may begin another round of project chaos to our lives.) Yay! Friday morning, I had time off and Fran took Elijah to his […]

Alright, alright, if I don’t sit down and type something this very minute, I fear I shall never get back!
Yesterday I was in a super moody/sappy place. We’ve tried so hard to get here, that I told myself I was not going to be moody or complain a lot (worrying about spotting and bleeding doesn’t […]
16 Week Sentiments
Overall, I feel that I have had very mild pregnancy symptoms. Luckily I never faced morning sickness, unless I waited a minute too long to eat. My exhaustion/energy level and quickly growing breasts were the only things that seemed truly apparent. Within the last week though my emotions are running high and my ability to eat […]

My 26th birthday might have just been my second best birthday ever! Favorite birthday #1 was last year when Elijah had come home to us only a week before.
On my actual birthday, Fran completely surprised me by getting off of work early and buying me surprise gifts. (We normally aren’t big on buying each other gifts, […]
You Know You’re Old When…
… your arms cramp playing Guitar Hero!
Yesterday was my 26th birthday. I absolutely love my birthday and I get excited months in advance, thinking of what I want to do and how I want to celebrate. This year was no different; however, as the date neared, I grew more and more convinced that […]
Pure Bliss and then…
After my lackluster dinner of chicken curry with chick peas and broccoli, I made myself an exquisite concotion. Fran melted chocolate chips for me, I mixed in some organic peanut butter and almonds and then dipped in half a banana. Ahhh! It was delicious! At least until my sugar rush left… Ugh! My belly!

3 large tomatoes, cut into wedges
4 cloves garlic, unpeeled
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1(15 ounce) can cannellini beans

Dinner Ideas
Lately, I’ve been racking my brain on what to make for dinner. We have this diabetic cookbook (Neither of us are diabetic, but it does run on Fran’s side of the family so we err on the side of caution. Yes, this is painful when it comes to dessert time sometimes, but I try to […]

One thing I love is organization; hence my appreciation for spreadsheets and tables. Ever since I was little, I had a fondness of things being in order. I dreamed about working at the Container Store; whilst some containers, I admit, can be unnecessary clutter, I love the idea of everything have it’s place. Each individual […]

Alright, let me preface by saying: I feel the utmost discomfort at selling! I hate trying to “sell” people. It just doesn’t feel right for me. I’ve thought trying my hand in realty or, selling P@mpered Chef or a similar business but I don’t want to pressure people. And not that I necessarily would, but […]

Wow! After missing several weeks of this, I am hoping to be back on track. So with the most detail, I’ve ever given, my Fridge Friday:
The top shelf houses are bread. You probably won’t notice but yes we have two loaves that are the exact same kind: 7 grain wheat. Who knows how old each […]

I didn’t do it. I thought I could and I had all the faith in the world in myself. I was weak and I do not know what to say for myself. I felt guilty at the onset, but then it turned pleasurable and I even wondered what the big deal was… Looking back, it was […]
